Salou
TownSalou is the Costa Dorada’s biggest beach resort — a long crescent of golden sand, a palm-lined promenade, and Europe’s PortAventura theme park right on its doorstep.
Why visit Salou
Salou is the holiday heart of the Costa Dorada. Its main beach, Platja de Llevant, is a wide arc of fine golden sand backed by a palm-lined promenade, while quieter coves hide around the Cap de Salou headland to the south. It is built for families — shallow, gentle water, the illuminated Font Lluminosa fountain, and PortAventura World a few minutes away. Lively and unapologetically a resort in summer.
