Why visit Ronda

Ronda sits high in the mountains inland from the coast, dramatically split in two by the deep El Tajo gorge. The two halves are joined by the Puente Nuevo, an eighteenth-century stone bridge that spans the chasm and is one of the most photographed sights in Spain. The town is also home to one of the country’s oldest bullrings and a historic old quarter. Its setting and clear mountain air make it a popular day trip up from the Costa del Sol.
