The Cap de Sant Antoni is a high, wild headland on the coast between Jávea and Dénia, reached by a quiet road that ends at its lighthouse. It marks the northern tip of Xàbia's bay and is one of the best viewpoints on this part of the Costa Blanca.
From the cliff edge the views open out over the marina and town of Jávea below, the sweep of the bay, and the open Mediterranean; on a clear day the Balearic Islands appear on the horizon. The lighthouse itself is modest and not open to visitors, but the setting more than makes up for it.
It is a protected area, so paths should be kept to, but those trails make fine walking and running ground, and the low light pollution makes it a rewarding spot after dark for stargazing. There are no shops or facilities, so bring water and supplies.
