Serra d’Irta
Natural parkThe Serra d'Irta is the Costa del Azahar's wild heart — a protected coastal mountain range of undeveloped cliffs, coves and scrub between Alcossebre and Peñíscola.
Why visit the Serra d'Irta
Between the resorts, the Serra d'Irta keeps a stretch of the Costa del Azahar exactly as it was: a low coastal mountain range dropping to cliffs, hidden coves and a marine reserve offshore, with no development and only tracks and trails to cross it. Walk or cycle to the Torre Badum watchtower for the view. The coast's antidote to the high-rises.
