Costa del Azahar Map
The orange-blossom coast is Castellón province, and it is the quietest stretch of the Valencian shore. Peñíscola’s walled town sits on a rock almost surrounded by sea; behind the beaches the plain is orange groves, which is where the name comes from. It is the coast people drive past on the way to Valencia or Barcelona, and that is most of its appeal.
