Ferrari Land (PortAventura World, Salou)
Theme parkFerrari Land is the Ferrari theme park inside the PortAventura World resort, on the Costa Dorada between Salou and Vila-seca, about 1.3 km from Salou town. You get there on the A-7 motorway or by Rodalies train to the resort’s own stop on lines R17 and RT2. Its headline ride is Red Force, a launch coaster 112 m high that goes from 0 to 180 km/h in 5 seconds. The park has 16 attractions and games, a children’s zone and streets themed on Italy. It suits thrill seekers, motorsport fans and families who combine it with PortAventura Park next door. Skip it if nobody in your group is tall enough for the big rides: much of what is left is aimed at small children.

Access and parking
By car: PortAventura World says to leave the A-7 and follow the signs to the resort. The address is the Avinguda Alcalde Pere Molas, between Salou and Vila-seca.
Parking: the resort has a general car park and a preferred car park, both with electric car charging points (park services). Parking is charged at the usual rates, even for disabled visitors; we could not find the current price. There is a separate car park for visitors with reduced mobility, closest to the park entrance; you must show proof of reduced mobility to the staff there.
By train: the resort has its own stop on the R17 and RT2 Rodalies de Catalunya lines. PortAventura World says the return train ticket is free with some park tickets bought as a package from Rodalies stations or vending machines. On OpenStreetMap, the Salou-Port Aventura station is about 600 m in a straight line from the centre of Ferrari Land; Wikipedia puts it 750 m from the resort entrance.
From further away: Reus Airport is 15 minutes away and Barcelona El Prat about an hour; Plana bus L4 links the Camp de Tarragona high-speed station with the area (getting here).
What to expect
Ferrari Land is compact and themed on Italy. You walk past copies of famous buildings, such as the Colosseum in Rome and the campanile of St Mark’s in Venice. The official ride list sorts the attractions like this:
- Red Force: thrill ride. A magnetic launch takes you from 0 to 180 km/h in 5 seconds, up to 112 m and over an 880 m track. Height between 1.40 m and 1.95 m.
- Thrill Towers: two towers 55 m high, one a free fall and one a bounce-back ride. From 1.40 m alone, or 1.30 m with an adult.
- Mild rides: Maranello Grand Race, Flying Dreams (a flight simulator over famous landscapes) and Racing Legends (a simulator). From 1.30 m alone.
- Pole Position Challenge: the park’s Formula 1 simulator, from 1.40 m.
- Children’s rides: Champions Race, Flying Race, Junior Red Force (a small coaster), Junior Championship, Kids Tower, Crazy Pistons and Kids Podium, a play area for ages 3 to 12.
- Ferrari Land Gallery: a museum space about the brand’s history, with no height limit.
Food is themed too. Trattoria Maranello serves Italian dishes with table service; Pit Lane is self-service (salads, burgers, pizza), and Paddock, Finish Line, Ice Cream Box and Stop & Go are snack bars. The live show listed in November 2026 was Born to Race, an acrobatics and dance show.
With 16 attractions, Ferrari Land is smaller than its neighbour; the tickets marked “most popular” pair it with PortAventura Park on the same day.
Prices and opening
From the official Ferrari Land tickets page, checked November 2026. These are “from” prices; the price depends on the date and the offer running.
- 1 day Ferrari Land: adult (11–59) from €19; junior (4–10) and senior (60+) from €17.
- 1 day, 2 parks (PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land on the same day): adult from €44 with the online offer shown (list price from €55); junior and senior from €40 (from €50).
- Guests of the PortAventura World hotels get one day of Ferrari Land admission included (resort FAQ).
Tickets come dated or flexible. A dated ticket bought on the website can be cancelled at least 3 days before the visit.
Opening hours: Ferrari Land does not open every day of the year, and its times vary by date. The official opening calendar did not show current Ferrari Land dates when we checked in November 2026, so we cannot give hours here. Offers on sale then included Ferrari Land access for visits up to 5 January 2027. Check the calendar for your date.
Practical details
- Express passes: Ferrari Land Express ONE gives one fast access to one of Red Force, Maranello Grand Race, Flying Dreams, Thrill Towers or Racing Legends; Express Ferrari Land gives one fast access on each of 5 attractions.
- Rain: the resort says the parks do not close for rain, but rides may stop for safety, and tickets are not refunded.
Accessibility and safety
PortAventura World lists adapted access for people with disabilities and reduced mobility at Ferrari Land. Visitors with a recognised disability of at least 33% can buy reduced tickets, but only at the ticket booths or the Guest Service Office for Visitors with Special Needs, not online. A wristband gives access to rides without architectural barriers; it is not a skip-the-queue pass, and up to four companions can ride along. When we checked, Red Force was marked as temporarily unavailable to wheelchair users. Height limits are strict on every ride, including a 1.95 m maximum on several of them, so measure children before you promise them Red Force.
Best time to visit
The resort’s own advice is to come midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) outside bank holidays. Weekends, summer, long weekends, Easter and Halloween are busier, and French school holidays bring extra crowds. In 2026 the Halloween season ran from 19 September to 15 November. Ride Red Force early in the day, before the queue builds, or use an Express pass.
