PortAventura World
Theme parkPortAventura World is one of Europe’s largest theme-park resorts — themed lands and big roller coasters, a water park and the Ferrari Land motor park, right beside Salou on the Costa Dorada.
Why visit PortAventura
PortAventura is the Costa Dorada’s headline attraction and one of the most visited theme parks in Europe. Opened in 1995, it is arranged as a series of themed worlds — Mediterrània, Far West, México, China, Polynesia and the child-friendly SésamoAventura — linked by landmark coasters such as Dragon Khan and Shambhala. Alongside sit the Caribe Aquatic Park and Ferrari Land, added in 2017, plus on-site hotels that turn it into a multi-day resort.

Motor-themed park
A separate Ferrari-themed park added in 2017, with one of Europe’s fastest coasters.
