Mundomar is a marine and exotic animal park on the east side of Benidorm, inland from Levante Beach. It sits right next to the Aqualandia water park. Benidorm’s tourist office lists dolphin, sea lion and parrot demonstrations, animal encounters, picnic areas and gardens. Adult tickets start at 32 euros (Benidorm tourism, checked November 2026). The park suits families with children who want a half day of animals and shows. Skip it if you do not want to see animals in shows, or if you want a full-day ride park; Terra Mítica is the one with rides.

Access and parking
By car: the park is on the east side of Benidorm. It is about 2.3 km in a straight line from the middle of Levante Beach and 2.6 km from the town centre point we use for Benidorm.
Parking: OpenStreetMap maps a large block of customer car parks on the west side of the park, about 100–200 m from it, all marked free of charge (fee: no). Wikipedia also notes that Mundomar and Aqualandia share the same car park. In peak summer, when both parks are open, arrive early.
By bus: the stop “Aqualandia / Mundomar” (stop 292 on the Marina Baixa public transport network, run by Llorente Bus) is about 150 m from the park, with a shelter and a bench. On OpenStreetMap, urban lines 1 and 11 start and end there, with routes to Benidorm centre, the bus station and the train station. A second stop, “C/ Marsella, 7” (stop 339), is about 230 m away. Check current timetables locally, as we could not confirm them.
What to expect
Benidorm’s tourist office lists four main attractions:
- Dolphin demonstration: described as educational sessions showing the dolphins’ intelligence and skills.
- Sea lion demonstration: sessions with trainers and sea lions. OpenStreetMap marks a sea lion amphitheatre in the north part of the park.
- Parrot demonstration: a bird display.
- Animal encounters: chances to learn about and interact with various exotic species.
Wikipedia, used here only for background, lists dolphins, sea lions, penguins and meerkats among the species, and says there is a viewing point at the top of the park next to the dolphinarium. OpenStreetMap also marks a flamingo lagoon and a pool for storks and cranes. The tourist office lists restaurants, picnic areas, souvenir shops, rest areas and green areas. The tourist office’s theme park page also mentions tropical gardens.
The demonstrations are the core of a visit; Wikipedia says they run several times a day. We could not confirm the 2026 show times. Check them at the entrance or on the park’s website, then plan your route around them.
Prices and opening
These are the 2026 prices given by Benidorm tourism (checked November 2026). They are “from” prices and may vary with date and sales channel:
- Adult (13–64 years): from 32 euros.
- Child (4–12 years): from 26 euros.
- Senior (65 and over): from 26 euros.
- Under 4: free.
The tourist office also mentions combined tickets with Aqualandia and season passes. It points to the park’s own website, mundomar.es, for tickets. We could not open the park’s website when we checked in November 2026, so the prices above have not been confirmed there.
Hours: Benidorm tourism gives 10:00 to 18:00 daily, extended to 19:00 in high season (July and August). It does not give the dates of the season. We could not confirm the opening calendar or whether the park opens in winter. Check the official calendar before you travel, especially from November to March.
Accessibility and safety
Benidorm tourism lists accessibility for people with reduced mobility among the park’s services. We could not confirm details such as step-free routes, wheelchair hire or adapted toilets. Bring sun protection and water in summer. Free parking is mapped right beside the park, and the bus stop is about 150 m away.
Best time to visit
Arrive at opening time and check the show times first. In July and August the park stays open until 19:00, so a late afternoon visit after the beach is possible. Spring and autumn are cooler, but check the opening calendar for those months on the park’s site.
