Terra Natura Benidorm is a zoo on the inland edge of Benidorm, at Foia del Verdader 1, about 3.6 km from the town centre and next to the Aqua Natura water park. You reach it by car on the Finestrat road, with customer car parks beside the park, or by the 015 local bus, which stops about 260 m away. Benidorm’s tourist office describes it as a new-generation zoo with more than 1,500 animals of 200 species, shown behind barriers that are meant to be almost invisible. It suits families and anyone who wants a day among large animals such as elephants, tigers and rhinos. Skip it if you dislike zoos, or if you visit between early November and early April, when the tourist office says it is closed.

Access and parking
By car: the park lies on the Carretera de Finestrat, on the inland side of Benidorm, about 3.6 km in a straight line from the town centre and 4.4 km from Levante Beach. On OpenStreetMap the zoo and Aqua Natura sit side by side, with Aqua Natura to the south-east.
Parking: OpenStreetMap maps a large block of customer car parks on the west and south side of the zoo, about 150–350 m from it, with several rows marked for disabled drivers. OpenStreetMap does not say whether parking is free, and we could not confirm a parking fee from an official source.
By bus: two stops called “Terra Natura” (stops 185 and 189 on the Marina Baixa public transport network, run by Llorente Bus) are about 260–270 m from the park. On OpenStreetMap they are served by line 015, which runs between Benidorm (Hotel Bali), the shopping centres and Finestrat. We could not confirm the timetable; check it locally before you rely on it.
What to expect
The park is laid out as a trip across continents. Benidorm’s tourist office names the areas Pangea, America and Asia. The regional tourist board lists elephants, lions, tigers, rhinoceroses, primates, reptiles, exotic birds, large herbivores and farm animals, and more than 2,500 trees, shrubs and ground-cover plants chosen to reflect those landscapes.
Benidorm tourism lists these highlights:
- Zoo immersion: habitats with barriers that are hard to see, so you watch the animals at close range.
- Educational shows: birds of prey demonstrations and animal feeding sessions.
- Multi-adventure zone: zip lines, rope bridges and play equipment for children.
- Venomous animals exhibition: in the Pangea area.
OpenStreetMap also marks an amphitheatre building inside the park, as well as a café, toilets and restaurants around the site. The regional tourist board says the park takes part in international breeding programmes for species such as ocelots, jaguars, Sumatran tigers, Asian lions, Indian rhinoceroses, gaurs, barasingha deer and dholes, and that it runs school visits with its education team.
Prices and opening
These are the prices shown by Benidorm tourism (checked November 2026). The page labels them “2025” and gives them as “from” prices, so they may have changed:
- Adult (13–59 years): from 33 euros.
- Child (4–12 years): from 27 euros.
- Senior (60 and over): from 27 euros.
- Under 4: free.
Combined tickets with Aqua Natura and family passes are also sold. Tickets are sold on the park’s own website, benidorm.terranatura.com, which we could not open when we checked, so neither the prices nor the 2026 calendar are confirmed there.
Opening: the tourist office says the park opens every day from early April to early November, with hours that change through the season. It does not publish the hours, so check them before you go.
Accessibility and safety
Spain’s official tourist board, spain.info, states that the site has full disabled access. OpenStreetMap marks several rows of disabled parking in the car parks. We could not confirm wheelchair or pushchair hire. Much of the park is outdoors, and the paddocks are open to the sun, so bring water, hats and sun cream in summer. Follow the keepers’ instructions during feeding sessions and shows.
Best time to visit
The park is seasonal: the tourist office gives early April to early November. Spring and early autumn are the most comfortable months for a long walk outdoors. In midsummer, go at opening time, when it is cooler, and plan a break in the shade around midday.
