Villajoyosa

Villajoyosa (La Vila Joiosa) is a fishing town in the Marina Baixa known for two things: a seafront row of houses painted in bright colours, and a long tradition of chocolate-making, with several producers still based here. Its old quarter sits behind the beach, and the coast stretches for kilometres along the bay. The TRAM light railway links it to Alicante and Benidorm.
